Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 Kg (Cut into small
pieces)
- Rice – 1 Kg
- Oil 1 cup
- Onions 3 or 4 in big size Chopped
- Tomato 3 or 4 in big size Chopped
- Garlic & ginger 2 tsp
- Salt 2 tsp or as your taste
- Red Chilies 2 tsp or as your taste
- Turmeric half tsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
- Garam Masala 2 tsp
- Green Cardamom 6
- Dried Coriander 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Bring
water to boil and add rice and salt. When rice is half cooked, drain the
water and place in a pan.
- Heat
oil and fry onions till the turn brown.
- Add all Spices, Tomato Garlic & ginger and chicken and cooked well till chicken color is brown.
- Add
the yogurt n cooked when water in the yogurt dries.
- Take a
pan and put 1 layer of cooked chicken, 1 layer of meat and again one of
rice till they are finished.
- Cover
the lid and cook on very low heat for 20 minutes.
- Chicken Biryani is ready serve with Salad & Raita.
