Chana Daal Goshat


Ingredients:


  • 1/2 kg mutton
  • 1 cup gram lentil, boiled
  • 2 medium size Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 big size Tomato chopped
  • 2 green Chili chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt or as your taste
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tsp fresh chopped coriander
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup yogurt

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium high heat and fry the onion till golden brown
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, Tomatoes and whole spices fry for 1 minute then add mutton.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes or until its change color.
  4. Now add the yogurt and cover the skillet and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
  5.  Then add 1 cup water again cover and cook until meat is tender.
  6. When water dries up, add boiled lentil.
  7. Stir well and leave it on low flame for 10 minutes or until oil comes out on top.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala powder, green chilies and coriander leaves over it.
  9. Chana Dal Gosht is ready. Enjoy
