Chicken Manchurian


Ingredients:


1        Chicken boneless cut into cubes

Ingredients for Marinating:
  •      1 egg
  •       salt to taste
  •      1 tsp ginger & garlic paste
  •      1 tsp white pepper
  •      2 tbsp oil
Ingredients for Sauce:
  • 4 capsicum, cut into cubes
  • 2 spring onion
  • 6 pineapple slices
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • Half cup tomato ketchup
  • 5 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 glass water
  • oil as required

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl add Egg, black pepper, garlic, white pepper, salt, egg and corn flour with chicken cubes and marinate for 1 hour.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium high heat.
  3. Deep fry chicken for 8-10 minutes or until light golden.
  4. Take it out from the oil and keep aside.
  5. Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan and sauté garlic in it.
  6. Then add capsicum and spring onion and stir fry for 1 minute then add pineapple chunks and fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Then add fried chicken, tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce, salt and white pepper.
  8. Keep Stirring.
  9. Now add a glass of water, lemon juice and Worcester sauce. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  10. Dissolve corn flour in little water.
  11. Pour corn flour paste into the pan stirring constantly.
  12. Cook until sauce is thickened.
  13.  Chicken Manchurian is ready.
