Achari Bhendi


Ingredients:


  • Bhindi sliced
  • Onion 1 big sliced
  • Ginger & Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp or as your taste
  • Red Chili powder 1 tsp or as your taste
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Zeera powder 1 tsp
  • Oil
 Achari masala

·        Cumin Seeds (Zeera)
·        Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
·        Fenugreek Seeds (Meethi Dana)
·        Coriander Seeds (dhania)
·        Kalonji

Method:

1.      In a pan, heat oil and fry sliced Bhendi with salt, chili and turmeric powder till it turns crispy.
2.      When the vegetable is 3/4  done then add the achari masala powder. Now fry over high heat.
3.      In a separate pan, heat oil. And fry onion till golden then add ginger n garlic paste and cook for 2 mints. Now mix with bhendi and cook for 2 more mints.
4.      Finally squeeze lemon juice on top.
5.      Achari Bhindi is ready to serve.
