Keema Matar



Ingredients:

  • Mutton minces 500 gm
  • Green peas 1 cup
  • Onions 2 chopped
  • Garlic & Ginger 1 tsp
  • Tomato 2 chopped
  • Green chilies 4.
  • Salt 1 tsp or as your taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp or as your taste.
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp.
  • Coriander Leaves 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp.
  • Oil half cup
Method:
  1. Clean, wash and drain the mutton mince thoroughly.
  2. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan and add the chopped onion.
  3. Fry till lightly browned.
  4. Add garlic, ginger and all spices and stir-fry for a minute.
  5. Add mutton mince and peas and Stir-fry for five minutes breaking up any lump if formed.
  6. Add ¾ cup of water, bring to a boil.
  7. Cover, lower the heat and cooked for half an hour till the water dry.
  8. Add chopped coriander leaves and now leave it for dum for about 10 minutes or when the mixture leaves oil.
  9. Keema Matar is ready
